The tournament commenced with an impressive opening ceremony graced by the presence of the JD President, the JDSC Animator, and the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Jesuraj Rayappan, along with other respected dignitaries and faculty members. Their presence and words of encouragement added inspiration and dignity to the event.
The tournament was conducted in a league format, ensuring fair play and equal opportunity for all participating teams. The final match took place between the Second-Year Philosophy (PG) and the Third-Year Philosophy students. After a thrilling and closely contested game, the Third-Year Philosophers emerged as the champions of the tournament.
The closing ceremony of the tournament was on July 25, 2025, marking the official conclusion of the event. Prizes and trophies were awarded to the winning team and runners-up. The Inter-Class Football Tournament was not only a celebration of sports and teamwork but also a living example of this year's theme, “I Am Because We Are.” It fostered unity, collaboration, and a healthy spirit of competition among the students.
