Understanding Mental Health: An Introduction

The Social Wing of the JDSC organized the first Extension Lecture on 10th July 2026. The topic for the same was “Understanding Mental Health: An Introduction”. The key note speaker was Dr. Anurag Borade, MD (Psychiatry), Psychiatrist. Dr. Borade brought out some of the problems that we face at the mental level and are unaware of.

Understanding Addiction: Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery

The Second Extension Lecture was on 12th August 2026, on the topic “Understanding Addiction: Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery”. The key note speaker for this program was Dr. Zainab Lokhandwala, DPM (Psychiatry), DGM. Dr. Zainab brought out some of the problems that we suffer in this digital era and are unaware of. She also answered the questions with great ease and clarity.
